This painting was commissioned by a wildlife photographer, (Bob Johnson) who frequently visits Africa for inspiration.
On one particular visit he witnessed a squabble between an adult and a juvenile Tawny Eagle, thankfully he had his camera to hand to capture this wonderful action shot.
Bob contacted me wishing to have his photograph painted, but with the Ngorongoro Crater as a backdrop.
